Vietnamese textile and garment delegation attended Textillegprom Fair 2019 in Russia
In the first 6 months of 2019, Vietnamese garment exports to the Russian market reached more than 130 million USD, an increase of more than 70% compared to the same period in 2018, focusing mainly on items: Jackets, Children’s clothing children, trousers, t-shirts… With the aim of exploiting the maximum advantages from the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the countries in the Eurasian Economic Union (VN-EAEU FTA) and to promote and expand exporting Vietnamese textiles to this potential market; The promotion program entering the Russian market has become one of the three key promotion programs in 2019 of the Association.
VITAS has built a Vietnam pavilion area with a total of 08 booths, each with its own design and high identity, demonstrating the strengths of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry as well as that of each enterprise. The Vietnamese pavilion has been arranged in the central area at the entrance, with a prominent position that attracts the attention of visitors, very convenient for customers to find the booth to transact.
Enterprises participating at Textillegprom Fair 2019 include: Garment 10 Corporation – JSC, Joint Joint Stock Company – Dong Nai Garment Corporation, Resource Garment Co., Ltd., Lam Quang Co., Ltd., Tri Duc Co., Ltd. , Quang Bich Garment Co., Ltd., Chau Son Global Garment Co., Ltd., Guilin Garment Import-Export Co., Ltd. Businesses have built Vietnamese stalls on a fairly large scale, with the main products being Jackets, children’s fashion, men’s/women’s fashion, jeans/denim goods, etc.
On the first day of opening, the delegation of Vietnam Textile and Garment enterprises also received the Vietnam Trade Office in Russia to visit and work. The deal congratulates VITAS on its success in continuing to organize business delegations to attend the fair as well as actively looking for partners and expanding markets. At the same time, the Trade Office also shared the difficulties and problems of enterprises related to export business in the Russian market.
On the first day of opening, the Vietnamese pavilion area attracted the attention of partners in Russia. Some products of Dong Nai Garment, Garment 10, Tri Duc, Resource … have received a lot of attention from customers. Some Russian partners have directly invited Vietnamese enterprises to visit their companies to discuss in detail about order development and business connection.
The delegation of Vietnam Textile and Garment Enterprises also received the warm attention of resident reporters of newspapers and radio stations: VOV, News Agency, Nhan Dan Newspaper.
